Al found Paul through a website believing he was 5'10 blonde with a 42 double D. As they got to know each other Al got suspicious and the truth came about this blondes exceptional knowledge of jive and double bass playing.

After an initial visit and quick run through practice we threw Paul in at the deep end at the Hayling Billy earlier this year to rapturous scene stealing applause. You name it and he's got the position for it, on his head, between his legs, under arm, you'll see what I mean when you see the man in action.

Paul's playing has raised the dynamic of the of BAatF sound to a new level, fusing the swing of Glenn Miller, the R 'n' B of Louis Jordan and Big Joe Turner with a touch of Rockabilly. Practicing has gone so well we have started penning our own tunes and currently in the process of recording and mixing as you read.
